Terms & Conditions
These terms apply when you use buckmanmethod.com or buy from The Buckman Method (“we,” “us”), including our books, our apparel shop and our text-message program, BM Shop Alerts. By placing an order you agree to them.
Orders
Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and you receive a confirmation email. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if an item becomes unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud.
Print-on-Demand Fulfillment
Our apparel is printed to order by our fulfillment partner, Printful. Nothing is printed until you order, so production usually takes a few business days before your order ships. Printed colors can look slightly different than they do on your screen. Please check the size chart for each product before ordering.
Shipping
- We currently ship apparel to addresses in the United States.
- The shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
- We email tracking information when your order ships. Delivery times are estimates from the carrier and are not guaranteed.
- Please double-check your shipping address. If an order is returned because the address entered at checkout was wrong or incomplete, we can reship it at your cost.
- If your package is lost or arrives damaged, email us and we’ll work with you to make it right.
Returns, Exchanges & Defects
Because every item is made to order, we don’t accept returns or exchanges for size, color or change of mind.
If your item arrives damaged, misprinted or defective, email mike@buckmanmethod.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the problem. We’ll send a free replacement or a refund, and you won’t need to send the item back. This is backed by our print partner’s quality guarantee; see Printful’s return and refund policy.
Digital Books
Books are delivered as downloadable PDFs. Your download links are emailed after purchase and expire after 7 days. If a link expires or a file won’t open, reply to your delivery email or contact us and we’ll send fresh links. Books are licensed for your personal use and may not be copied, shared or resold.
Pricing & Payment
- Prices are in U.S. dollars and are confirmed at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but never on an order you’ve already placed.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Any applicable sales tax and shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
- If an item was listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
SMS Terms
BM Shop Alerts is a text-message program run by The Buckman Method.
- What it sends: operational store alerts only, such as notices about orders that are stuck, on hold or failed, and problems with fulfillment or the store’s systems. These go to the store owner and authorized staff. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.
- How to opt in: text ALERTS to (302) 517-1505. See the BM Shop Alerts sign-up page.
- Frequency: message frequency varies.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop messages. Reply HELP for help.
- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Intellectual Property
The Buckman Method name, our designs, books, photos and site content belong to The Buckman Method and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Limitation of Liability
Our products and site are provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here, with its effective date, applies to orders placed after that date.
